The Inclusion Project

A SAIR Collective Assessment for Galloway Ridge

What is The Inclusion Project

A three-month engagement designed to learn more about the way racial identity is experienced at Galloway Ridge. We want to know what's working well, and amplify it. And we want to know if there are areas where we can get even better than we already are. Part of being a certified a Great Place to Work, is giving proactive and continuous attention to how everyone experiences Galloway Ridge - from staff to residents.

Who is SAIR Collective?

The SAIR Collective is a group of educators and consultants that help individuals and organizations connect across differences and create cultures of belonging. The SAIR Collective is a DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) consulting and education firm and our work is grounded in the belief that all people are worthy and deserving.

What is Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion?

At SAIR, we like to think about it this way.  Diversity is who is invited to the party.  Inclusion is being involved in planning the party, with your contributions recognized and celebrated.  And Equity is having all of the things you need to enjoy the party.  Many organizations start and stop with Diversity, but Galloway Ridge wants to ensure that everyone is heard, listened to, and respected. That is inclusion and it's what this process is all about. There are many facets to diversity - gender, religion, sexuality, age, disability status - but in this project, we are focused on racial inclusion.
